Forkward

Terms of use and service

These terms cover the use of this website and the general rules of the Forkward service. Last updated 28 October 2026.

Who we are

Forkward is a service of SYNAPTIX BUSINESS SOLUTIONS S.R.L., Str. Sapientei 1B, Sector 5, Bucharest, Romania, registration J2026008733005, tax ID 53856811, reachable at contact@forkward.eu. In these terms, "we" means this company and "you" means the visitor of the website or the customer of the service.

Using this website

The website describes our service and publishes information about end-of-life software and known vulnerabilities. We take care to keep it accurate, but it is general information: check the official sources we link to before you rely on it for a decision.

The texts, design, logo and name Forkward belong to SYNAPTIX BUSINESS SOLUTIONS S.R.L. Vulnerability data comes from public sources, such as the US National Vulnerability Database and the CISA catalog, and keeps their terms. Do not try to disrupt the website or reach parts of it that are not public.

Links to other websites are there for your information. We are not responsible for their content.

Who the service is for

Forkward is offered to companies and organisations, not to consumers. Every customer signs a written contract, made of an order with the plan, the systems covered and the price, and these terms. If the contract and these terms differ, the contract applies.

Plans and prices

The plans and their prices are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in euro, per year, and do not include taxes; any applicable tax is shown on the invoice. A system is a physical server, a virtual machine or a cloud instance. The price in your signed order stays fixed for the term of that order.

How fixes are delivered

For the systems and versions in your plan, we deliver a fix for a newly published vulnerability within 48 hours of your order, or within 24 hours with priority delivery, which is charged per request as shown on the pricing page. The time runs from the moment we confirm your order and know the exact versions you run, which the assessment establishes.

We test every fix before we deliver it. You install it in your own environment and remain responsible for testing it there, for keeping backups and for following your own change management procedures.

Confidentiality

What you tell us about your systems, and what we learn while assessing them, stays confidential. We use it only to provide the service to you, and we share it only with the providers we need for that, under the same duty of confidentiality, or when the law requires it.

Liability

Our total liability under a contract is limited to the fees you paid under that contract in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, such as for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

Term and termination

Each plan runs for one year from the date of the order. Renewal and termination follow the contract you signed.

Law and disputes

These terms and every contract are governed by Romanian law. We will first try to settle any disagreement by talking to you. If that does not work, the competent courts in Bucharest, Romania, decide.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and publish the new version on this page, with its date. A contract already signed keeps the terms that applied when it was signed, unless both sides agree otherwise.

Personal data

How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy notice.
